Court again suspends Lawrence attorney

The Kansas Supreme Court on Friday suspended for one year the law license of a Lawrence attorney, Brian R. Johnson, for his representation of a Jefferson County woman accused of arson on her own home.

The decision marked the second time the Court suspended Johnson’s license.

The Court concurred with the findings of the state’s Disciplinary Administrator that Johnson had a concurrent conflict of interest in representing the interests of both the woman and her husband.
