A man is in critical condition after a car accident that shut down Zoo Blvd. near the I-235 interchange.
The man, who is in his thirties, was traveling westbound on Zoo Blvd. when the car went off a bridge and crashed into a fence and wall.
The driver had to be cut free from the car by fire and EMS crews. He was then taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
Officers were on scene for hours trying to determine was caused the crash. They say speed and alcohol could have been a factor.
