Kids at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center marked today’s anniversary with hands-on experience on what it means to be a fire fighter.
Little ones helped firefighters operate the fire hose and got the chance to see what it feels like to sit in the hot seat of a fire truck.
They chose today’s event as a way to say thank-you to the first responders in the Topeka community and remember those who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks.
