Eugene Ware Elementary School students make their “escape” from a simulated house fire during a demonstration of the Fire Safety House by the Fort Scott Fire Department on Tuesday at the school. Local fire departments are visiting area schools and other locations with educational demonstrations this week as they spread their message of fire safety and prevention.
