House fire on N. Grove (Dennis Decker/Eyewitness News / October 15, 2013)
Wichita firefighters made quick work of a house fire in the 2400 block of N. Grove Tuesday morning. Crews found flames coming from the front of the home when they arrived.
A neighbor told firefighters the house was vacant. Then, someone in their teens burst through the front door and ran down the street.
Fire officials have not yet determined what caused the fire.
No one was hurt and firefighters were able to rescue a dog which was in a cage inside the home.
