Numerous fire crews responded to an apartment fire in Haysville Thursday afternoon.
It happened at an apartment located at 401 Sarah Lane.
Wichita, Sedgwick, and McConnell Fire Departments arrived on the scene to smoke and flames.
They were able to get the fire under control quickly.
Firefighters went door to door to make sure all the residents made it out okay.
The fire was contained to the kitchen area of one apartment.
