No injuries were reported Tuesday after a fire was reported in the basement of the Del Monte plant.
The plant, 2200 N.W. Brickyard Road, was evacuated for safety. Fire crews responded to the scene just before noon, a Shawnee County dispatcher said, and the fire was extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters ventilated the area before workers returned to the building.
