Firefighters were battling a small barn fire on Mission Road in southern Johnson County on Wednesday afternoon.
Smoke was billowing from the small barn just after 4 p.m. as firefighters poured water onto the roof and inside the structure.
The barn was located at 20875 Mission Road.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
