McPherson Sentinel – September 10, 2013
Monday morning McPherson firefighters responded to Kansas Highway 61 mile marker 77 for a motor home on fire.
A woman noticed heavy smoke billowing from the rear of the RV she was driving, so she pulled onto the shoulder. Discovering there was a fire, she called 911.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze quickly, but the RV was a total loss.
According to firefighters, the cause of the fire was electrical.
