The Kansas Fire and Rescue Training Institute visited the Winfield Fire Department from the University of Kansas and brought their firefighter skills program. “If they get trapped inside of a room we teach them how to get out,” said Mike Cook, head of training and transportation for Kansas Fire and Rescue Training Institute. “We try to do as minimal damage as we can.” (Ashlee Mayo/Courier)
