Dylan Bruna, Hanover, was killed in a single-vehicle accident after the truck he was driving left the road on Thursday, according to an initial report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
Bruna, 21, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet pickup, owned by Bruna Brothers Inc., in the 2100 Block of Zenith Road when the truck left the west side of the road and traveled through a ditch before coming to a bridge. The vehicle went over the north bridge embankment and became airborne, colliding with the south bridge embankment, according to the report.
Bruna was taken to Hanover Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff’s department reported Saturday they were continuing to investigate the cause and the time of the accident.
Hanover/Hollenberg Fire Department and Hanover Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
