Update, 6 p.m.: The students have been picked up. The bus was turning left onto First Street as another vehicle was crossing First Street on Wabash. The bus is being towed. One child went to the hospital with minor injuries.

There has been a school bus accident at First and Wabash, with minor injuries to at least two people. About 30 College Hill Elementary students were on the bus when the accident happened; one suffered a bloody nose.
Susan Arensman with USD 259 said another bus will come to pick up the students. Last month, there was a fire at College Hill Elementary before school started this year. So those students are being bused to the old Bryant building on the west side.
