Lottery under way for long-term camp

Perry State Park will continue a lottery drawing for long-term camping sites this year.

Individuals drawn from the lottery will enter into a written 30-day contract with the state park each month. The contract is renewable each month for the six consecutive months from April 1 through Oct. 31.

All annual park permits are applicable for any of the long-term camping participants. If anyone is interested in participating in this drawing for a long-term camping site they will need to complete an application form and return it to the Perry State Park office by Feb. 3.

Applications are available at the park office. The drawing will be held during the week of Feb. 20.
