BP, GE, Kingman EMS, Kingman Rescue, and Mid-West Life Team held a mock rescue drill at Turbine E066 in the Flat Ridge II Wind Farm in Kingman County on Friday, August 2, 2013.
A simulated Pt. was lowered from the tower by employee’s. Kingman EMS and rescue responded from their station, regular traffic to the turbine location. Life Flight also responded.
This mock drill was to establish response times, familiarize responding agency’s with procedures involved in this type of rescue, and establish an ongoing working relationship with the entities involved.
