KINSLEY – Niles A. Myers Jr., 76, died Nov. 9, 2013, at his home. He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Harrisonville, Mo., the son of Niles A. and Adah Donald Myers. A resident of Kinsley, he was an auto parts manager. He had served as Assistant Chief for the Kinsley Fire Department.
On May 26, 1956, he married Norma J. Koon, in Kingman. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Larry, Kinsley, and Lyle, Frisco, Texas; a daughter, Nyla Thompson, Derby; a sister, Betty Zerman, Ark City; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 12, 2013, at the Kinsley Christian Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Edwards County Healthcare Foundation, or the Kinsley Fire Department, both in care of McKillip Memorial Funeral Home, Kinsley.
