Anthony firemen didn’t have any problem finding a fire Sunday afternoon when a fire at a SandRidge drilling rig was reported.
Smoke and flames could be seen for miles from a fire in a sludge near the drilling rig.
Anthony firemen used foam to put out the pit with the fire reported to have caused very little damage. The fire was six miles east and one mile north of Anthony near Gerald Wolff’s residence.
