One person is dead after a one-vehicle wreck early Sunday in Jefferson County, according to Sheriff Jeff Herrig.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s officers were dispatched at 3:20 a.m. to a report of a vehicle fully engulfed in flames at the intersection of Quail Hill Road and Valley View Road in the Lake Shore Estates Improvement District in rural Ozawkie.
The investigation at the scene determined that the fire was a result of a one-vehicle wreck.
