One person was taken to the hospital Monday after fire broke out in a Kansas City, Kan., apartment building.
The extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately known.The fire was reported just after 1:30 p.m. Monday at a building in the 4100 block of Mission Road. The first firefighters on the scene said that heavy flames were coming from the three-story structure.
