The public will be afforded a chance to offer input and hear details about a plan to improve K-4 highway and the Oakland Expressway, the Kansas Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
A public open house is slated for 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2 at Seaman High School, 4850 N.W. Rochester Road for people to ask questions, offer suggestions and learn about the Interim Extension Improvement Plan on K-4/Oakland Expressway.
The plan includes the Oakland Expressway from US-24 highway in Shawnee County north to N.E. 54th Street in Jefferson County.
