One office was engulfed in flames Wednesday night, causing heavy smoke damage to other businesses in a strip mall.
Firefighters arrived at the mall near 31st and Seneca just before midnight.
They found fire in the office of one business, which spread to the attic above but was put out quickly.
The smoke from that fire spread to several other stores in the mall. Firefighters had to open them up to assess the extensive smoke damage.
