Representative Ramon Gonzalez Recognized for Attendance

Topeka – *Representative Ramon Gonzalez (R-Perry) was recognized for perfect attendance for the 2012 legislative session. Official records of the Kansas House of Representatives show that Representative Ramon Gonzalez attended every day of the legislative session and did not miss a single vote of the 396 cast by the full House.

“The commitment of becoming a state legislator stems beyond the 90 day session,” said Speaker Mike O’Neal (R-Hutchinson). “In order to make the concept of a citizen legislature really work one must be able to give a tremendous amount of time to meet the needs of their constituents. Representative Ramon Gonzalez’s commitment and dedication to his constituents is clearly evident in the time he spends serving them in Topeka.”

Representative Ramon Gonzalez was appointed to the Kansas House of Representatives in January 2011. He represents the 47th District which, in the new state house redistricting lines, covers Jefferson County and part of northeast Shawnee County.

The House Clerk records, and recently confirmed, the official attendance and voting records of the Kansas House of Representatives.
