A structure fire on Saturday in the 200 Block of North Maple Street in Russell damaged the attic of a home.
The fire was first reported to authorities at just ahead of 3 PM Saturday.
According to the Russell Fire Department, the owner’s of the residence were not home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the attic and some of the rest of the southwest part of the home received smoke and water damage.
