Topeka employee jailed in connection with aggravated assault

A City of Topeka employee was arrested Friday in Jefferson County on suspicion of brandishing a gun and threatening a board member of his homeowner association.

Herman Wyatt, 48, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 7:15 a.m. Friday in connection with aggravated assault, criminal discharge of a firearm recklessly at an occupied dwelling and criminal threat. He remained in jail at 9 a.m. Monday on a $50,000 cash bond.
