Two women were taken to The University of Kansas Hospital after a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning near Winchester.
Jefferson County Undersheriff Robert Chartier said officers responded about 10:56 a.m. in the 18200 block of Mooney Creek Road in northeast Jefferson County.
Chartier said the accident occurred when Bonnie Kramer, of rural Winchester, and Lisa Kramer, also of rural Winchester, collided. Bonnie Kramer was driving south in a 2006 Chrysler 300, and Lisa Kramer was driving north in a 1996 Dodge Caravan.
Chartier said he believed the woman were related.
