Unrestrained drivers taken to Topeka hospital in US-24 crashes

Two people were taken to a Topeka hospital Sunday in two separate single-vehicle accidents on US-24 highway in Jefferson County.

According to Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs, the first accident occurred when a 2002 Chevy Silverado driven by Adam Michel Bower, 25, of Oskaloosa, drifted into the westbound lane, entered the ditch north of the roadway, rolled and ejected the driver.

Troopers responding to the accident about 2 a.m. at mile marker 385 identified the driver as Adam Michel Bower, 25, of Oskaloosa.
