Ambulance crews were sent mid-morning Saturday to the Soldier Township Fire Department north of Topeka after a woman came to the station suffering from an injury in a chainsaw accident.
Emergency dispatchers were notified about 11 a.m. that a woman who had cut her arm with a chainsaw in Jefferson County was being taken by private vehicle to the Solder Township Fire Department, 600 N.W. 46th.
American Medical Response ambulance crews were dispatched to the fire station to attend to the woman.
