At 740 AM CDT, Doppler Radar was tracking strong winds from
dissipating showers that could gust up to 40 mph. It is possible you
may hear no thunder and have little to no rain with these strong
winds.
Locations impacted include…
Topeka, Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Holton, Valley Falls,
Oskaloosa, Tecumseh, Eudora, Richland, Wellsville, Silver Lake,
Centropolis, Perry, McLouth, Meriden, Hoyt, Ozawkie, Nortonville and
Lecompton.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 182 and 198.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 354 and 355.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 176 and 205.
