AFTERNOON…
* WHAT…Light snow at times will continue through the early
afternoon hours. Accumulations less than 1 inch are expected.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause blowing and drifting
snow.
* WHERE…Portions of east central and northeast Kansas.
* WHEN…Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions will impact the morning or evening commute.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
