Columbus firefighters were called to a barn fire Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m. Black smoke bellowed from three buildings one-half mile south of Greenlawn Street on Southwest 20th Street. Two large machine sheds and a small building were destroyed in the fire. The buildings were the property of the Kenny Canard family.
The fire apparently started from the meat smoker on the right side of the picture. A 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport antique car was destroyed in the building. It can be seen directly in front of the firefighter.
