Overland Park fire investigators said a fire at a home near 89th Street and Farley Avenue late Wednesday night was caused by a dryer.
Firefighters were called the home in the 9800 block of West 89th Street about 11 p.m.
Two people inside the home made it out safely.
Fire crews contained the blaze to the basement.
