A 24-year-old Lindsborg man died in an accident Saturday morning on Kansas Highway 61.
At 9:38 a.m. Saturday, a Fed Ex van driven by Edwin A. Torres-Rubio, 24, of Lindsborg that was eastbound on Comanche Road ran a stop sign and collided with a Ford F-150 truck that was southbound on Kansas Highway 61.
Both vehicles ended up in the median. The Fed Ex van rolled.
Torres-Rubio was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to McPherson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Inman firefighters, McPherson emergency personnel and sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident.
