The Winfield Fire Department responded to a call reporting a structure fire at the American Legion Post 10, 115 W. 10th Ave., at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. According to Lt. Patrick Ramirez with the WFD, a small gas fire had ignited in the kitchen but was put out before firefighters got to the scene. No damage or injuries were reported. Photo by Rebecca McCutcheon.
