(CARBONDALE, Kan.) – The Fire Education Association of Kansas teamed up with the Fire Marshals Association of Kansas and awarded nine organizations free Fire Prevention Week™ safety materials. The materials – NFPA’s Fire Prevention Week™ In A Box – will help support prevention efforts in Kansas this October during National Fire Prevention Week, October 6 – 12. This year’s FPW™ theme is, “Have 2 Ways Out.” Learn more about FPW™ at www.FirePreventionWeek.org.
Each “box” – donated by FEAK and FMAK – includes open house materials for 100 adults and 100 children, which includes a large FPW banner, posters, brochures for adults and kids, stickers, magnets, fire fact newsletters, Sparky the Fire Dog® bags and a Let’s Get Started Guide.
