Norton County Community Foundation has received a $2,000 Community Betterment grant from the DuPont Pioneer Giving Program to building an addition to the Almena Fire Department building. With the addition, all emergency vehicles will fit inside the fire department building, out of the weather and safe from vandalism, according to Jeff Callaway, Almena fire chief.
