Greater Andover Days donates almost $1,000 to Police and Fire Foundation

Kandace Hunt, Chair of the Greater Andover Days Committee, appeared before the Andover City Council Tuesday evening to present a $998.50 check to the Andover Police and Fire Foundation. ”We donate 50 cents of each button sold every year to their Foundation,” Hunt said. Fire Chief Jim Shaver noted that this is the third year that a portion of the button sales have gone to the Police and Fire Foundation. ”The Foundation appreciates it, and future students appreciate it,” said Shaver.
