Multiple fire departments came together to battle a barn fire in Cherokee County, Kansas on Thursday afternoon.
The Galena fire chief says there were at least 1,000 hay bales inside the barn at the corner of U.S. 69 and Bellview.
Crews created a firewall around the barn to contain it but officials say the hay bales could burn for a few days.
No word yet on how the fire started.
