An elderly Marion County man was killed in an apparent farming accident this week.
Marion County authorities were first called to a report of a missing person in the Peabody area Tuesday. While on their way to the scene, deputies learned the man’s body had been found.
Eldon Andres, 82, was pinned beneath a tractor. Investigators believe Andres was working on the tractor when it moved forward, knocking him to the ground and coming to a stop on top of him.
