Saturday at Noon, a 13,000 pound concrete block, part of the last wall standing at ground zero, will be placed outside the Topeka Fire Department’s Administration Building, 324 SE Jefferson.
Topeka will be home to this memorial for the next 2-3 years, then it will be placed at a memorial in KCK (that organizers say will be the largest 9/11 memorial in the country).
