Areas affected...eastern Wyoming

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 452...

Valid 070123Z - 070330Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 452
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat continues across WW452.

DISCUSSION...Storms continue across northeastern Wyoming with mainly
multi-cell clusters and transient supercells capable of large hail.
This regime will likely continue with occasional large hail through
the next couple of hours.

Additional development may occur this evening with a southeastward
moving shortwave across Montana. Given earlier storm activity, much
of northeast Wyoming remains has become overturned with MLCIN
increasing. As large scale lift overspreads the Big Horn Basin over
the next couple of hours, expect further storm development to occur,
with the tendency to grow upscale with the main threat becoming
damaging wind. Less activity has occurred across
east-central/southeastern Wyoming, where around 1500 J/kg of MLCAPE
remains with moderate deep layer shear around 40 kts. Across this
region, a damaging wind treat will be supported along the southward
flank of any new development.
