The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 452
continues.
SUMMARY...Severe threat continues within WW452. New watch issuance
may be needed within the next hour.
DISCUSSION...Ongoing thunderstorm activity continues across eastern
Wyoming with a discrete supercell capable of large hail tracking
across Niobrara County and a line of thunderstorms ongoing further
west from Johnson to Natrona counties. Surface objective analysis
indicates MLCAPE around 1000-1500 J/kg continuing across
southeastern Wyoming into the Nebraska Panhandle. This will support
further maintenance of ongoing storms as the shortwave begins to
shift southward out of Montana. A new watch will likely be needed to
replace WW452 and expand further into the Nebraska Panhandle as the
threat continues to shift eastward with time into the late evening.
