Valid 070027Z - 070200Z The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 131 continues. SUMMARY...Severe threat will gradually shift southeast this evening. DISCUSSION...Earlier supercell activity has evolved into a larger corridor of convection that currently extends from DE into south-central VA. In the absence of more organized rotating storms, it appears the hail threat has waned considerably with this activity. Modest buoyancy persists across southeast VA/MD which should aid forward propagation, especially as deeper flow is becoming more westerly with time.
