Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Scattered supercell development will likely persist through the evening from parts of Louisiana into Mississippi, with an attendant threat for damaging gusts/large hail, as well as an isolated tornado or two. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles southeast of Meridian MS to 45 miles south southwest of Natchez MS.
