URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 137 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1120 AM CDT Sat Apr 15 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Far southwest Alabama Southeast Louisiana Southeast Mississippi Coastal Waters * Effective this Saturday morning and afternoon from 1120 AM until 400 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...A linear MCS should spread east across the central Gulf Coast through late afternoon with a threat for strong to locally severe wind gusts. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles west northwest of New Orleans LA to 30 miles southeast of Mobile AL.
