The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Eastern Arkansas
Northeast Louisiana
Extreme southeast Missouri
Northern and western Mississippi
Western Tennessee
* Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 650 PM
until 200 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms will move east across the watch area
through late evening with a risk for damaging winds and large hail.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65
statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles north northeast
of Dyersburg TN to 75 miles south of Greenville MS. For a complete
