The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
North Central Mississippi
* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 550 PM until
1000 PM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events
to 2 inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...A cluster of intense thunderstorms over eastern Arkansas
will track into north-central Mississippi through the evening,
posing a risk of large hail and locally damaging wind gusts.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35
statute miles north and south of a line from 15 miles northwest of
Greenville MS to 55 miles east southeast of Greenwood MS. For a
