The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Western, central, and southern Arkansas
Northern Louisiana
Eastern Oklahoma
Far northeast Texas
* Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 1055 PM
until 600 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
inches in diameter likely
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible
SUMMARY...Regenerative supercells will persist across the Ark-La-Tex
region overnight with additional elevated supercells likely forming
from eastern Oklahoma across western to central Arkansas.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 80
statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles east southeast
of Monticello AR to 40 miles west of Poteau OK. For a complete
