The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Far southeast Arkansas
Northeast Louisiana
Central Mississippi
* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 735 PM
until 200 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3
inches in diameter likely
Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75
mph possible
SUMMARY...Discrete supercells over southeast Arkansas will spread
east-southeast. Additional regeneration trailing westward may yield
an emerging cluster later tonight that spreads back across central
Mississippi.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 90
statute miles east and west of a line from 85 miles west southwest
of Meridian MS to 50 miles northwest of Greenwood MS. For a complete
