URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 316 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 955 AM EDT Fri Jun 16 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southeast Alabama Florida Panhandle Southwest Georgia Coastal Waters * Effective this Friday morning and afternoon from 955 AM until 300 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of fast-moving thunderstorms over southern Alabama will track across the watch area. Locally damaging wind gusts may accompany these storms. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles northwest of Panama City FL to 80 miles east southeast of Tallahassee FL.
