URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 333 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 610 AM CDT Sun Jun 18 2023 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southwestern Alabama Western Florida Panhandle Southern Mississippi Coastal Waters * Effective this Sunday morning from 610 AM until NOON CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Long-lived clusters of organized thunderstorms initially over Severe Thunderstorm Watch 332 may continue to pose a threat for severe gusts and isolated hail, as they move southeastward along and south of an instability/baroclinic gradient, toward the GPT-MOB-PNS coastal region. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles north of Pine Belt MS to 20 miles south of Pensacola FL.
