The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Far Southern Illinois
Southwest Indiana
Western Kentucky
Far Southeast Missouri
* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 705 PM
until 100 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...At least isolated to widely scattered strong/severe
thunderstorms may develop this evening within a very unstable
environment, with large hail and damaging winds possible.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles north northeast
of Owensboro KY to 40 miles south southwest of Paducah KY. For a

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
